This was such an exciting and adventurous engagement session at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Mears Michigan! Monica and Ricky are one of my 2023 couples. It was such a joy to be able to capture their engagement photos, and soon, their wedding photos. How To Choose Your Outfit For Your Engagement Photos

I am absolutely obsessed with Monica and Ricky’s engagement photos outfits and the direction that they went with it! And, honestly the question that I get asked most is “okay what the heck do I wear?!” Most of the time I’d recommend to stay true to yourself and your style. Stick with what you are comfortable with. The last thing I want you feeling is uncomfy. With that in mind, take a look at the tips that I give my couples before any session!

The most important parts to remember is: Wear something that you would normally wear. Make sure that you bring multiple outfit options to your session. Try to stick with more neutrals and avoid the bold patterns! Then, make sure to coordinate without being too matchy matchy! If you do that you will 100% be set on your engagement session!
