Emilee and Paul’s intimate wedding day at Wyoming Park Bible in Grand Rapids Michigan was one of my absolute favorite weddings! This wedding was a total dream, from the colors, to the cozy vibes, to all the home made desserts and more! One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is that I get to capture beautiful intimate weddings like this one!

Seeing Emilee and Paul’s vision come to life was such a dream! They went with a beautiful and minimal indoor church ceremony and reception! It was the perfect intimate wedding venue for them. They went with an untraditional wedding and decided to get married in the morning. It was very cute and cozy, and they even had coffee and a dessert reception!

Their Love Story

They met online on February 13th – one day before Valentine’s Day! Emilee was intrigued by Paul but was not sure at first. (Now look at them…)! After that, they finally met at a coffee shop and he quite literally swept her off her feet with how sweet and down to earth he was! Emilee said, “Being with Paul feels like home”. Paul proposed shortly after their first date at Empire Bluffs in Traverse City! And now, here they are husband and wife, better than they ever dreamed of!

Unique + Authentic Intimate Wedding

They completely DIY’d the majority of their wedding day. I love how they made their wedding day own and very unique while staying true to themselves. I feel like this is one of the most important parts of your special day! One of the best and most authentic parts of their wedding day was how they printed out their first conversation together and hung it on the wall of the reception area. I always encourage my couples to create special moments to remember their day by and they definitely did!
