Being a part of their engagement celebration at Van Buren State Park was so fun! I loved how unique their engagement session was. Aaron and Heather decided to roll around in the sand, have three outfits to create variety, brought a bottle of champagne, AND had an amazing picnic! Their first date took place at Van Buren State Park, it was so special to incorporate that location into their engagement photos! I am always encouraging my couples to include something that is special to them and has meaning behind it. A Playful Engagement Photoshoot Sprinkled With A Unique Kind Of Love

The best part about Aaron and Heather’s session was that they were up for all the fun! They wanted tons of variety in their photos and wanted all the interesting angels. I think that we definitely succeeded with that, especially given how many different elements we were able to play with. It was the best when they decided to start walking on the fallen trees and jump up on them to get some shots together. They were truly up for anything! Plus, you could totally tell that their love language is physical touch because they couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. I loved every second of it! It really made for some super intimate moments together, which are the best kind of moments!

A Stunning Engagement Session Location: Van Buren State Park!

This location held a special place in their hearts! Van Buren State Park was actually where they had their first date so this was definitely a no-brainer place for them. Plus, the best part about this location was the fact that there are multiple backdrops and sceneries to be a part of. For example, they had the water backdrop, the tree logs for variety and dimension, and the trees and sand cliffs! I loved the simple yet intentional variety that this location gave to them. Definitely recommend this location if you have no idea where to go but you are looking for a place with a lot of variety!
