Ever since 2020, people decided to ditch the traditional ways to do things and said yes to more unique wedding ideas. And I am all for it! Reception Dress
The famous switch-aro where the bride decides to incorporate two different looks on her wedding day is one of the best 2022 wedding trends. No idea what this is? Let me explain! This looks like the bride starting off in her ceremony, ball gown, fancier wedding dress and switches her outfit before her grand entrance to the reception.
The best part is that the second dress does not necessarily have to be from a bridal store. I have had many brides get their second dress from one of their favorite boutiques or local stores! This means, affordable, but SO FUN!
Champagne Tower
I have always loved a good champagne tower! Even before it became one of the 2022 wedding trends. Something about it is classic, fun, and elegant! You can even have your bridal party be a part of it! It is a great way to get the “party” started during your wedding reception and get the momentum going!
Pro Tip: Remind your wedding planner to have the venue fill up the champagne tower glasses halfway with champagne before you start pouring. This will make it not feel like you are standing up there forever waiting for all the glasses to fill!
Direct Flash Photos
The beautiful direct flash photos! Something just hits different when a good direct flash wedding photo happens. It’s like magic! This goes away from the traditional “avoid the direct flash” that photographers would normally stay away from. Direct flash means no modifiers or softening. We love seeing variety and this type of photography definitely provides that! Would you want direct flash photos to be a part of your wedding day?
Lots Of Wedding Florals
When I say lots of wedding florals, I mean a lot! An overflowing amount is definitely part of the 2022 wedding trends! I am not mad about it. In my opinion, the more flowers – the better! This means having lots of flowers on your wedding arch at your ceremony, on your tablescapes, huge bouquets, aisle flowers, and more! Think, all the above and go completely all in!
