The Story That Led To A Greenhouse Wedding With Krista + Zach

Krista and Zach met on August 28, 2021, on the beach in Florida. Zach was visiting his friends down in Florida, and Krista ran into them on the beach where she would walk all the time. She knew a few of Zach’s friends because she worked with them, so Krista decided to stop and say hi! She and Zach had a long conversation about missions, God’s call on their lives, and then that was it.

Zach later found Krista on social media and reached out to her, where they then facetimed and Zach shared his intentions and feelings towards Krista. They dated long distance between Florida and Nashville for a year. In March of 2022, Zach proposed to Krista at the same beach they met at. Exactly one year later, to the minute, on August 28, 2022, Krista walked down the aisle to spend forever with Zach during their wedding at Ivy House – A Greenhouse Wedding Venue in Saugatuck, Michigan!!

They thought every tiny detail out, and their elegant greenhouse wedding came together so perfectly. I helped Krista get into her dress so she could do a first look with both of her parents at the same time, which they then got to help her finish getting ready by putting on her necklace and her shoes. Right before the ceremony, Krista played a special song for her parents to dance to, and I promise you, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. She then got to dance with her mom, and then with her dad.

They had Krista’s twin brother ask “who gives this woman to be married to this man?” at the beginning of their ceremony, and her two brother-in-law’s married them! We took their couples’ portraits at Oval Beach in Saugatuck to represent where they first met each other. Also, can we talk about their grand entrance?! WOW! You’ll have to keep scrolling to see what they did! We ended the night with some direct flash photos, a sparkler send-off, and a dance party out under the market lights. Despite how hot it was, their day was seriously magical.
